The Emergence of Sobriety in Dance Music

Listen Up Therapy were really proud to be part of the amazing Electronic Sound Summit in Liverpool by Liverpool Audio Network last Friday, sharing a panel of "The Emergence of Sobriety in the Dance Music Scene".

The panel was hosted by Listen Up Therapy founder and DJ Matthew Benjamin @bushwacka On the panel there was a diversely rich view of points of view from dealing with addiction and moderation and also coping mechanisms for anxiety or pre-gig nerves such as breathwork/meditation instead of always reaching for a drink. Belinda Matwali of Listen Up Therapy providing a lot of holistic approaches and ideas. The panel also featured DJ Lee Butler @djleebutler and Brett Leboff @brettleboffstayingsane who have an amazing wealth of experience in the music industry and journeys with sobriety.

The panel was open and free any dogma and really well received by the audience with lots of interesting questions.
