Beatport Interview: Performance Anxiety

We recently caught up with Raphael Pujol (aka The Checkup) from Beatport, to talk about all things music and mental health.

We spoke on topics relating to artists and music industry professionals such as performance anxiety, confidence issues, finding unique style, and working through substance issues. We're seeing more and more young people using substances as a way to aid in their creative process which quickly turns into them feeling less creative and depressed.

Many of the issues that we speak too on the chat we have testimonials from clients to back up how we supported them. So this can be a great way to get a feel for what we do and how we could help you if you're suffering from anxiety, confidence issues or substance mis-use.

The full chat is on the Beatport Instagram page. We also touch on other issues that artists can face such as self doubt, social media addiction and dealing with comparisonitis.

It’s a super informative chat and we were really grateful that Beatport lent their platform of over 1 million followers to support the topic of mental wellness in the music industry.
