      <image:title>What is Therapy? - The Transformative Power of Therapy</image:title>
      <image:caption>Over the years, I’ve undergone major life changes—shifting careers, moving locations, and overcoming personal battles. Through therapy, I’ve confronted my deep-seated beliefs, emotional triggers, and self-perceptions. The stories we tell ourselves about who we are and how we should think, feel, and act became clearer to me in therapy. It has been one of the most important journeys of my life..</image:caption>
    </image:image>

      <image:title>What is Therapy? - Let me tell you a story…</image:title>
      <image:caption>I want to share what psychotherapy means to me—beyond a textbook definition—and how it led me to create Listen Up Therapy. Years ago, when I was fully immersed in a successful music career, traveling the world every weekend, the idea that therapy could help me felt completely foreign. My life was a blur of flights, performances, and late nights. I was always on the move. That changed in 2005, when I had my first psychotherapy session—and I’ve continued with regular therapy ever since. It didn’t just change my life—it changed how I see my life. Therapy provided me with a safe, structured space to explore, reflect, and shift my perspective. I realized that my struggles—anxiety, depression, frustration, and feelings of hopelessness—could be approached differently. With the guidance of an experienced therapist, I started to understand myself in ways I never had before.</image:caption>

      <image:title>What is Therapy? - Why I created Listen Up Therapy</image:title>
      <image:caption>The idea for Listen Up Therapy came while I was earning my MSc in Transactional Analysis Psychotherapy. I was still deeply involved in music production, DJing, and running record labels, while also exploring meditation techniques with my partner, Belinda. I saw first-hand how difficult it was for artists, musicians, and industry professionals to balance creativity with self-care. I also witnessed the growing mental health crisis in the creative world. Anxiety, burnout, depression, and addiction were everywhere. This inspired me to merge my two worlds—music and psychotherapy—to create a space where creatives can get the mental health support they need. If you’ve ever felt overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure how to move forward, you’re not alone. Therapy and meditation changed my life—and I believe they can change yours too.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Listen In Meditation Course - We are More Than Our Thoughts…</image:title>
      <image:caption>We are born as human beings into this life. It’s a ‘technical name’ that is widely used “human being”. However most people in society are not familiar with the ‘being’ aspect. As we are born and grow we are conditioned to become so familiar with the human aspect (the mind, body, emotions etc) that we believe we are that and that alone. We become so associated with our thoughts we think we are our thoughts (not helped by Descarates “I think, therefore I am” statement - #facepalm). So how can we begin to unstick ourselves from thinking we are our thoughts (or those judgemental comments which can be so nasty in our head). We are not the voices/thoughts inside our head. That part that is always judging, comparing, complaining, worrying, thinking.</image:caption>
    </image:image>

      <image:loc>https://images.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/5df2b6e162ff3e45ae982abf/1595323026151-LVD2MB4G6E0GAXSLYSJN/Large+JPG-20140228_Trade+151_0046.jpg</image:loc>
      <image:title>Listen In Meditation Course - Getting to a place of non-judgemental awareness</image:title>
      <image:caption>In meditation we can give ourselves the tools to get beyond that place - the place of non-judgemental awareness. By doing so, some transformations begin to happen to us. The more we begin to experience and identify with this place of non-judgemental awareness the more the false stories that we’ve associated with begin to drop away. Of course this is not an overnight process, of course there are ‘aha’ moments, especially when you are doing meditation in conjunction with therapy, but this is the work of a lifetime.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Listen In Meditation Course - Meditation is not about ‘fixing’ ourselves</image:title>
      <image:caption>Rather than pushing away parts of ourselves or trying to fix ourselves, over time our attention begins to associate more with our true eternal individuality and less of the personality which is largely a construct of our social conditioning. Listen In is designed to give you the tools to want to spend more time with yourself, to give you an internal map, how to harness your energy and attention, to then arrive at the space of non-judgemental awareness and return there over and over again so you can listen to the true you, the place of non-judgemental awareness rather than the crowd of voices in your mind. The course is divided into an introduction and 6 insightful sessions to take you step by step.</image:caption>

      <image:title>What is Therapy? - Offering Therapy To The Industry I’ve come from…</image:title>
      <image:caption>The idea behind Listen Up Therapy came to me midway through my studies taking an MSc in Transactional Analysis Psychotherapy. I was still very active in the music industry, performing regularly, travelling lots, in the recording studio creating music and remixes, and running record labels. At the same time I was deepening my experience of meditation, being shown new techniques and methods regularly from my partner Belinda. My struggles with balancing and sustaining my vocation in the music world, practising self care, and seeing more and more people around me suffering terribly with mental health issues highlighted the painful position so many people were in. This brought me to the idea that I could use my vast experience from working in music , my own battles with mental health, and my new found knowledge around psychotherapeutic counselling, to help others make that move and commit to therapeutic and meditative practices, and improve their lives.</image:caption>

      <image:title>What is Therapy? - What is Therapy?</image:title>

- The Transformative Power of Therapy</image:title>
      <image:caption>Over the years, I’ve undergone major life changes—shifting careers, moving locations, and overcoming personal battles. Through therapy, I’ve confronted my deep-seated beliefs, emotional triggers, and self-perceptions. The stories we tell ourselves about who we are and how we should think, feel, and act became clearer to me in therapy. It has been one of the most important journeys of my life.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Addicted To Being Meditation Course - Learning how to connect in unguided meditation…</image:title>
      <image:caption>The way I teach is step by step, providing tangible and effective tools for you to incorporate each week. Just like going to the gym you need to build certain muscles before you get into a full flow and so we start building a solid foundation. By the end of the course you’ll have a solid experience in being able to connect with yourself and know how to meditate on your own (SO good for when you want to stay far away from your smart phone in the mornings!!) Meditation is about connecting with our being, our inner space and there are tools we can develop to help us navigate this space more meaningful - otherwise it really is like grappling around in the dark and can take years if not lifetimes to figure out on your own. What you gain in meditation you can then bring into life, you integrate it. You have more energy, clarity, a relaxed awareness, rather than a tense awareness and you feel more alert as to what’s happening around you. You gain a fresh perspective on life, and become more sensitive to the aliveness of life and feel more in tune.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Addicted To Being Meditation Course</image:title>
      <image:caption>Addicted To Being is Belinda’s meditation journey journey of 9 years distilled into the most essential foundational lessons. It’s a very unique course as its something that has come from her own journey, learning with many teachers around the world, and then her own insights and observations from peak experiences. Belinda shares, “The name… well I use to be addicted to many things - recreation drugs is the obvious one, but that was really just a symptom of me being addicted to need approval, needing validation, addicted to self loathing, addicted to feeling not enough, addicted to caring about what others thought, addicted about my appearance, addicted to nice clothes, addicted to needing others to love me…. you get the point.” And one day I got sick of all that, and I said to myself, if i’m going to be addicted to anything, it’s my being. Nothing is more important than that. I want to wake up and feel identified and connected to my divinity, I want to radiate from that exact point, I want to be a beacon of shining light for others suffering like I was. Because in the depths of addiction and self loathing I didn’t even think that this was possible. I’m so passionate about this offering, I see it as a way of life. Your being is always there, your essential self doesn’t need to be addicted to it because it is IT, but your human part does. It’s your mind beginning to realise it’s a being, rather than just a human and getting addicted that identification.</image:caption>

      <image:caption>Timothy Wright is a psychotherapist with an MSc. in Integrative Psychotherapy and BSc. (Hons) degree in Psychology. He has over 10 years experience working with clients and offers short- and long-term therapy, online or face-to-face. Timothy looks to provide a comfortable setting where people can talk openly and explore what has been going on for them. He believes therapy is a space to help people find the change they are seeking, but also to build more resilience to tolerate the uncomfortable feelings that are often part of life. Whether exploring short-term coping strategies or deeper reflective work, he adjusts his approach to meet your needs. Timothy acknowledges the quality of the relationship between client and therapist is one of the most important factors in successful therapy. He therefore focuses on building a strong connection with his clients, where honesty, integrity and empathy are the foundations of mutual trust and respect. He support clients to explore their past and present, looking to help them to understand what happened and how it plays a role in their everyday.</image:caption>
